EastEnders' Maisie Smith wows with edgy transformation after filming Tiffany exit

EastEnders star Maisie Smith showed off a bold new look on social media as she showed off a lip and nose piercing in a TikTok video shared with her fans.

Maisie, 20, looked gorgeous as she filmed herself finishing off her make-up as she told her fans how well she had done her eyebrows, sending them wild.

The flame-haired beauty wore comfy clothing as she tied her hair back into a ponytail as she showed off simple but elegant make-up in the video, adding gold hoop earrings to complete the look.

Although it was unclear whether the piercing was real or a stick on, it didn’t stop her fans from gushing over the new look as she rushed to compliment her.

One said: “I love your lip piercing, I have a lip piercing also.”

Another added: “Is that an actual piercing!”

A third asked: “Is that a lip piercing or just a jewel? Suits you.”

Maisie’s video comes after she filmed herself crying shortly after she finished filming her final scenes for EastEnders earlier this year.

The star admitted she felt “pointless” and “useless”, sparking concern with her fans in the candid video.

Maisie’s exit as Tiffany Butcher, who first arrived on the soap in 2008, will be aired soon, but her exit storyline is yet to be revealed.

She said at the time: “It’s time to say farewell to Tiff! I’ve grown up on EastEnders since 2008, and have learnt from the best over the past 13 years.

“I’m very excited for my next challenge and thank the BBC for the opportunity they gave me as a 6 year old.”

Show producer Jon Sen added: “We are all very sad to see Maisie leave. She’s been a wonderful company member during her time at EastEnders and it’s been a privilege to see her blossom into the star she is.

“She has created an iconic character in Tiff and the door is always open to her return. We wish her all the very best for her future projects.”

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC.
