Ed Sheeran reveals one thing fans do in the bathroom that puts him off using the urinals

Ed Sheeran has revealed he stays well clear of urinals due to other blokes trying to glimpse over at him.

The superstar songwriter said if no cubicles are free he will take a urinal right at the end of the row to avoid fans.

The 30-year-old Shape of You singer explained why he doesn’t use them.

He said: “My rule usually is I don’t go to urinals.

“There will be 20 urinals and I will stand at an end one and someone will come and stand right next to me just to have a look.

“So my rule is I usually don’t.”

However, Ed has met some famous faces while using the urinals.

The singer awkwardly met Game of Thrones star, Kit Harington, while using a urinal due to the cubical being occupied by a potential drug user.

He has also met GOT King of the North Richard Madden who also starred in BBC’s Bodyguard while going to the toilet.

Speaking to Armchair Expert podcast, Ed said: “I met Kit Harington and Richard Madden, both in urinals.

“You’re there and you’re like, ‘Oh my God. This is kind of awkward. I’m next to Jon Snow’. Not knowing that he’s thinking ‘Oh my God, this is so awkward’.”

Ed featured in the hit fantasy series in 2017 as a Lannister solider.

The Thinking Out Loud singer, took to social media and said: “Quick note to tell you that I’ve sadly tested positive for Covid, so I’m now self-isolating and following government guidelines.

“It means that I’m now unable to plough ahead with any in person commitments for now, so I’ll be doing as many of my planned interviews/performances I can from my house.

“Apologies to anyone I’ve let down. Be safe everyone.”

The news came days before the release of his new album.
