Emmerdale viewers couldn’t believe how grown-up Arthur Thomas was as he made an appearance in tonight’s dramatic episode.
The character, played by Alfie Clarke, has been on the show since he first joined in 2009.
Arthur found his sister Gabby chatting to Jamie, the father of her unborn child, tonight and he was fuming.
He is convinced Gabby will abandon their family as she’s been getting closer to Jamie and his mother Kim Tate.
However, viewers were distracted by how grown up the character was.
One tweeted: “Wow these kids grow up FAST… Arthur!”
While another penned: “Can’t believe how tall Arthur has gotten!!”

Arthur’s sister Gabby has been at the heart of the drama in the village recently as she discovered she’s pregnant with Jamie Tate’s baby.
He wasn’t thrilled when she told him at first, but Gabby is determined to win his heart as she seems to have a plan.
Earlier this month, Emmerdale fans were left doing a double take when Gabby revealed Jamie’s true age during a conversation with Laurel.

Shaken by the news she is expecting a baby with Kim Tate’s son, Gabby revealed there are five years between them – which would make Jamie just 24 years of age.
Laurel remarked: “The age gap is rather large.”
Gabby said: “What, five years? How much older was dad than you?”
Laurel replied: “Well, forget the age gap”, as she accepted she was considerably younger than her late husband Ashley.

Viewers watching were baffled as they were convinced Jamie is older than 24.
A qualified vet, Jamie has already been through one marriage – to Andrea Tate – and is the father to young Millie Tate.
Viewers were baffled that he had progressed so far in his life at his age as one tweeted: “The age gap is 5 years between Gabby and Jamie?! I’m sure they said Gaby is 19 the other day, surely Jamie is older than 24… He’s a vet and that takes 5 years!”
While another penned: “Jamie is only meant to be 24? Life must have come at him hard. How is he even a fully qualified experienced vet?”
“Hang on a minute @emmerdale if Jamie Tate is only 24 (5 years older than Gabby) 1. He’s had a hard paper round and 2. was he still at school when he got Andrea pregnant?! And also, was Graeme sleeping with Andrea when she was still a teenager?! I’m confused.”, wrote a third.
