Former Corrie star Paula Lane ditches Cobbles for hiking as she stuns in snap

Paula, 35, has embraced “mum life” since leaving Coronation Street. She took a stunning selfie on Tuesday after she took her kids on a day out to the Forest School.

The Call the Midwife actress smiled for the camera despite the rainy weather on the school trip.

After posting the snap on Instagram she added the caption, “Happy soggy time in the woods at Forest School! #mumlife.”

The mother-of-two wrapped up warm in a thick grey woolly hat, two jumpers and a grey raincoat with a furry, hooded collar.

Embracing her mum-duties, Paula had just a touch of make-up and wore her wide-frame tortoiseshell glasses.

Paula looked to be enjoying Mum-life as she embraced the wet conditions to support her kids.

The actress recently shared a post talking about the difficulties of balancing her career and being a full-time mum.

Uploading a picture of herself and her five-year-old daughter, Penny, on a train to London when she was just a newborn.

Paula captioned the post, “Here’s a throwback. 5 years ago! That time I took my 8 week old baby to an audition all the way to London and back. This is when a self tape would’ve been very handy!”

The actress was candid about the difficulties of balancing motherhood and her career as an actress.

However, Paula, with the help of her husband Tom, appears to be balancing “mum life” and Corrie with style and a smile.

Paula has been married to fellow actor Tom Shaw for over seven years.

Tom appeared on Coronation Street in 2017 and 2018 as Kim, as the old friend of Fiz Stape, played by Jennie McAlpine.
