Gavin and Stacey star Rob Brydon hints there may be another special episode

Rob Brydon has teased that there could still be a new special episode of Gavin & Stacey to come.

The actor and comedian said that the show had left its viewers hanging on the edge of their seats with the 2019 Christmas special and needed another episode to wrap up the story.

The final episode of the fan-favourite comedy ended with a cliffhanger that saw Ruth Jones’ character Nessa propose to James Corden’s Smithy.

Speaking on his Brydon & podcast, Rob said: “Well, I think they might do one more special.

“Because they left it hanging, didn’t they, with the proposal? So it would seem strange if they didn’t.”
