GMB fans point out Antony Worrall Thompson's 'annoying blunder' in background

The cries of many Good Morning Britain fans were heard on Thursday after viewers of the ITV show noticed an “annoying error” in the background of Antony Worrall Thompson’s home.

Antony, 70, appeared on the programme to discuss the views of Italian TV chef Gino D’Acampo who slammed “moron” parents for “letting” their children be picky with food.

Agreeing with Gino, the restaurateur explained that parents needed to take more time to “eat with their children” rather than set separate dinner slots.

However, fans were more distracted by his kitchen calendar which had not been flipped to show the correct date.

Taking to Twitter, online users begged GMB hosts to raise the issue with their guest.

Anthony distracted viewers with his background

One person penned: “#GMB someone should tell Anthony W Thompson to change his calendar, 8th Dec, maybe I have more time for shopping lol.”

Another added: “Can someone tell Anthony it’s not 8th December he needs to change his calendar #GMB.”

While a third responded: “I thought it was an 8 day count down not the date lol lol #GMB.”

Producers must have read some of the responses online as host Charlotte Hawkins called out the TV chef on the blunder behind.

She said: “Anthony, I have to point out that your calendar is showing as the 8th. Have you thought about changing it?”

Looking puzzled the TV chef turned around to see his mistake and began to laugh that it had not been updated to the correct date.

Anthony had joined the ranks with the debate over whether or not children are too picky in this day and age.

This had previously been raised by This Morning star Gino who admitted to Annie O’Leary and Wendy Golledge on a podcast, that he was a really strict parent when it came to food.

He said: “A child doesn’t grow up fussy. It’s not possible . It’s the parents that can’t be bothered to fight. They can’t be bothered to have the argument at the table.

“When people talk to me about fussy children with food, there is no such thing as a fussy child – but there is a thing of moron parenting. I mean idiots.

“They can’t be bothered to see their children go to bed without having any food. I can.

He added: “I’m a very strict dad. I’m always up for a fight. I don’t care with whom, if it’s my wife, if it’s my children, if it’s my daughter, because I think the extra fight I’m having today, they pay off tomorrow.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am.
