Ever the professional, Susanna Reid refused to let a rogue swear word ruffle her feathers on Wednesday’s Good Morning Britain.
The presenter, 50, accidentally said the word “s*a*” instead of “chat,” confusing the four-letter words during an early-morning interview.
Though Susanna immediately corrected herself, declining to acknowledge the slip-up, one GMB viewer was quick to pick up on the gaffe.
The swear word slipped when Susanna and her co-host Adil Ray were chatting to Scottish player Billy Gilmour about Tuesday evening’s football match.
Footie star Billy is isolating after testing positive for Covid, and his teammates, Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell, are also in quarantine after coming into contact with him.

Susanna remarked: “I really feel for Billy Gilmour because that was obviously a missed opportunity for him to have to be in isolation.
“I know yesterday we had the big row about how come he’s the only Scottish player to be isolating and how come two English players have to isolate after they had a s*a* with him.”
Refusing to draw attention to the swear word, Susanna corrected herself, saying: “A chat with him…”

Meanwhile, one Twitter user spotted the 6.30am blunder, taking to their keyboard to crack a few jokes.
They wrote: According to Susanna Reid on GMB “‘Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell had a 20 minute S*A* with Billy Gilmour’.”
Before adding: ”No wonder they all isolated last night!”

This isn’t the first time one of the GMB hosts has accidentally sworn while filming the morning news programme, with its seven-year history sprinkled with blunders.
Last year, Susanna’s former co-star, Piers Morgan, who quit GMB in March, blurted out the word “bell***” while the cameras were rolling.
The outspoken presenter had been reading out a birthday message sent to him by footballer-turned-actor Vinnie Jones at the time – and he refused to bleep out the curse word.
Reading out the greeting, Piers said: “Happy Birthday to a total legend…I mean total bell***.”
Piers’ co-star, Charlotte Hawkins, was visibly startled by the swear word and called him out.

In a typical Piers response, he defiantly hit back: “I just said it didn’t I? I think we’re beyond normal rules on TV.”
