GMB's Susanna Reid says she will 'get some boobs' for co-host Ben Shephard

Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard were discussing Christmas decorations when things took a slightly odd turn on the show.

The duo were discussing that many people this year have opted to put their decorations up early following a challenging Christmas last December.

Ben added that although his tree isn’t up, decorations have been cropping up around his home, confessing that he loves the festive period.

He said: “Can’t get enough of it, Christmas. There are Christmas decorations around the house. It’s never too early for a bit of the boob (Bublé) is it. Boob on in January and February.”

As Ben was raving about “The Boob” – otherwise known as Michael Bublé – Susanna began singing It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

She then corrected him and said: “You mean the Bublé.”

However, Ben immediately chirped back: “Well, boob to his mates.”

The duo were chuckling over the nickname they had given the popular festive singer until they moved over to their next segment – but they couldn’t help but bring it back to the topic.

As the duo prepared to go to the break, Susanna said: “We’ve got the news, travel and weather where you are – we’ve also got some boobs, for Ben.”

Luckily, the pair were certainly discussing Michael Bublé on the set as they shared their excitement for the upcoming festive season.

While it seems Susanna and Ben were incredibly supportive of the festive season starting earlier than usual, co-host Ranvir Singh wasn’t quite as happy about it starting early.

However, she did state that she believed people were making the most of it because we “didn’t have a Christmas last year”.

The host is of course referring to the challenges families faced last year as lockdown loomed and the country was placed in a tier system which scrapped festivities for some families.

Many people didn’t have the Christmas they had planned for last year, so early celebrations have surrounded the country – particularly with averts this year.

John Lewis released its Christmas advert two weeks early, alongside M&S, after reports that searches for Christmas had increased earlier than usual.
