Gogglebox fans have been left baffled after show favourite Ellie Warner appeared to wave around a small dildo and place it on her lap during the episode.
The small, light pink item bore a striking resemblance to a dildo and appeared to be covered in strange little bubbles.
Shocked fans immediately took to Twitter to try and crack the case.
One user wrote: “Why has Ellie from Gogglebox got a dildo on her lap? #Gogglebox”.
While a second asked: “What the heck is on Ellie’s lap #gogglebox”.
A third chimed in, commenting: “Had to look twice at what Ellie was holding on #Gogglebox just now!” and a fourth said: “What’s that pink thing Ellie’s waving? #Gogglebox”.
However, the object seemed to have a much more mundane meaning – as it was likely a dog toy for one of the sisters’ greyhound pups.

Fans were left cracking up when a member of Manchester’s The Malone family dubbed footy ace David Ginola “David Granola” during a showing of I’m A Celeb, and fans enjoyed watching Giles paint a portrait of his wife Mary.
Ellie’s sister Izzi wowed fans on social media recently after the 29-year-old showed off her trim physique and slimmed down look in a slinky black dress for a night out.
It comes after last month Izzi showcased her great figure again as she shared a rare snap with her children Bobby, 6, and daughter Bessie, 19 months.
Izzi, who shares her two children with her boyfriend Grant, was previously filming scenes for Gogglebox when she was pregnant with her daughter Bessie, and this series the pair have relocated the set to Ellie’s flat.
In July Izzi excitedly revealed she’s got a new career change after she qualified as a mortgage advisor.
She to her Instagram Stories where she shared a video explaining that she had passed her certificate in mortgage advice and practice exam with distinction.
The star was clearly proud of her efforts as she gushed: “I’ve only gone and done it! CEMAPS completed. Mortgage advisor pending”.
Between them Ellie and Izzi have four adorable pups who regularly appear on their sofa with them.
Ellie is the owner of two Italian greyhounds named Mick and Madge and a mini sausage dog called Morris.
Meanwhile Izzi and her family have Morris’ brother Fudge.
