I'm A Celeb fans sob as Snoochie breaks down in tears after 'harsh' trial result

I’m A Celeb’s Snoochie Shy was left fighting back the tears on Monday night, after she lost out on a hearty meal in her first Gwrych Castle trial.

The Radio 1Extra DJ, went head to head with Emmerdale icon Danny Miller, but was unable to beat him in their disgustingly grim bushtucker challenge.

After her trial, Snoochie was left teary-eyed as she couldn’t bear to tell her other campmates that they won’t be eating a full meal that evening.

But seeing Snoochie so emotional fans couldn’t help but share their thoughts on her reaction online.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “Not Snoochie being upset!! She did amazing in the trial.”

Another said: “Snoochie crying my beloved Pleading face you were amazing,” followed by a crying eyes emoji.

A third chimed: “I hate seeing how low people who put on a brave face really can be. You’re only human. Big hug Snoochie!”

Talking in the Telegraph, Snoochie broke down and said: “I was kind of dreading coming back and telling them, ‘I’m sorry I didn’t get you food today’.

I just kept apologising and everyone was like, ‘You don’t need to apologise’ but I just feel really guilty,” she explained.

While in the courtyard, Snoochie appeared evidently upset, which lead former BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin to comfort her.

Sharing her thoughts regarding the matter, Louise said: “She was emotional and I completely understand that, she thinks she’s let us down even though we don’t think she has let us down.”

Not long after, Loose Women’s Frankie Bridge joined Snoochie and Louise in the courtyard and reassured Snoochie.

Frankie also told the DJ that she genuinely doesn’t care that they were unable to win the trial. As the ladies comforted each other, they embraced in a hug.

Later on in the programme, while in The Clink football star David Ginola said he was very proud of Emmerdale legend Danny for winning the trial and choreographer Arlene Phillips described the young chap as “fearless”.

Shortly after, the winning dinner arrived which happened to be pike.

Speaking openly while in the Telegraph, Danny said: “Much to my dismay it was fish and not only fish but it was pike which you could probably catch in the Manchester canal.”

Despite Danny’s reservations, the fish went down well with everyone else in camp.

Arlene said: “It was a joyful night and all due to Danny” whilst a delighted Richard Madeley said: “We’ll all go to bed very full and very grateful to Danny.”
