Inside Zoe Ball's lavish life £1.5m home – huge bed to glam garden hideaway

Zoe Ball lives in a gorgeous countryside home in Ashdown Forest.

The 50-year-old former Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two presenter purchased the lavish £1.5 million property last year (via OK!).

Having previously lived in Lewes. Zoe shares her lavish Sussex home with her partner Michael Reed and two children, 11-year-old Nelly and 20-year-old Woody.

Woody is best known for competing on Channel 4 reality competition The Circle, with he and Zoe also appearing together on Celebrity Gogglebox.

Their home was designed in the 1920s, with impressive features including a tennis court and swimming pool alongside vast grounds.

Zoe, meanwhile, makes the most out of the property’s interior and exterior spaces.

The lush Ashdown Forest home was originally built by Russian aristocrat Baron Vladimir de Wolff and Zoe wasted no time in sprucing the place up and putting her own personal spin on the décor.

Posting to Instagram back in April, the Radio 2 presenter revealed she had overhauled a number of rooms, including the living room which boasts a gorgeous fireplace feature.

She wrote: “Thrilled to have worked with the design wonders at @wmorrisandco on our living room & bedroom project.

“Been in fabric & wallpaper heaven from start to finish.”

Zoe’s “bedroom project” was completed in April, with her displaying the impressive results on Instagram.

The stunning king-size bed is stood on a plush cream carpet, with the room itself decked out in mosaic-style wallpaper.

She completed the elegant boudoir with green floral curtains which compliment the floral green throw cushions pictured on the bed, with the headboard also a green colour.

Zoe’s love of the colour green comes with her love for all things outdoors.

‘Garden hideaway’

On the vast grounds of Zoe’s property, the TV star keeps an outdoor “cabin” that she’s adamant is “not a shed” and instead a “garden hideaway”.

The cosy wooden lodge featured on Zoe’s Instagram last year and even boasts its own patio area.

Standing on a raised platform with a staircase leading up to it, the cabin can be seen surrounded by wooden deck chairs with the area well-lit and surrounded by greenery.

While the garden hideaway is not a shed, Zoe does in fact have one of those as well.

Green-fingered

Posting to Instagram in March, Zoe gave her 620,000 Instagram followers a glimpse of her real garden shed.

The green-fingered star keeps a range of gardening tools and equipment inside the spacious outhouse, with her previously sharing her progress in growing her own tomatoes, beetroot, carrots and potatoes on the property.

Zoe wrote: “That was a Barbara Goode Day.

“Potting shed sorted, veg patch dug. Living the goddamn dream.”
