Jennifer Aniston and ex Justin Theroux still 'love each other' years after split

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux announced the end of their marriage in 2018 after six years together and two years married, but it seems the pair remained close friends.

The actor opened up about their split as he denied that his desire to live in New York was a factor in their split, as Jennifer wanted to stay in Los Angeles.

He told Esquire: “That’s a narrative that is not true, for the most part.

“Look, people create narratives that make themselves feel better or simplify things for them.

“That whole, ‘This person likes rock ‘n’ roll, that person likes jazz. Of course!’ That’s just not the case. It’s an oversimplification.”

The pair secretly got married in 2015 after dating for four years and getting engaged in 2012, and announced the end of their marriage in a joint statement in 2018.

Despite their split, Justin has insisted that he and Jennifer have stayed good friends, and even said they “still love each other”.

He said: “I’m sincere when I say that I cherish our friendship. We cannot be together and still bring each other joy and friendship.

The actor also said how funny he finds the Friends actress to be around, and said it would be “a loss” if they hadn’t stayed in contact after their divorce.

Justin continued: “We don’t talk every day, but we call each other. We FaceTime. We text. Like it or not, we didn’t have that dramatic split, and we love each other.”

Meanwhile, rumours recently circulated that Jennifer had revealed some happy baby news to her Friends co-stars during the much-anticipated reunion special, which has recently been filmed.

According to an insider, Jennifer told her friends that she was going to adopt a little girl from an orphanage in Mexico, Casa Hogar Sion.

The source said to Closer: “Jen felt the reunion was the perfect time to make her baby announcement to the whole gang.

“While the girls already knew – as they see each other regularly – she thought it would be special to tell the boys when they were all together, as she rarely sees them these days due to their busy lives and work commitments.”

However, a representative for Jennifer says the claims are “false and never happened”.

Whatever happens, it is safe to say that fans can’t wait to see the six stars back on screen.
