John Travolta shares heartbreaking tribute to his late wife Kelly Preston

John Travolta paid a special emotional tribute to his tragic Kelly Preston on the family’s first Mother’s Day without her.

The Hollywood star is still coming to terms with the loss of his “incredible” partner.

The actress died age 57 after a two-year battle against breast cancer last summer.

Pulp Fiction star John took to Instagram to share some sweet family snaps ten months after her passing.

He wrote: “Dearest Kelly, you brought into my life three of the most wonderful children I have ever known. Thank you. We love and miss you. Happy Mother’s Day.”

The first snap showed the couple smiling with kids Ella Bleu, now 21, and then newborn son Benjamin, who is now 10.

The second image showed them both with their firstborn son Jett, who died in January 2009 at the age of 16.

Speaking in an interview for the May edition of the magazine, the actor said: “I have learned that mourning someone, mourning, is personal.

“Mourning is individual and experiencing your own journey is what can lead to healing.”

He went on: “It is what I do with Ella now with her films and teaching her to work in the profession,” he said.

“Ben is barely ten-years-old. I want to help him evolve because he has his whole life ahead of him.”

Daughter Ella shared a touching memory of her mother following her death last year.

“I have never met anyone as courageous, strong, beautiful and loving as you,” she wrote.

“You have made life so beautiful and I know you will continue to do so always,” she added. “I love you so much mama.”

“She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many,” John, 67, said, confirming her death.

“My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered.”

Chris Palzis, her half-brother, spoke about her following the devastating news last summer.

He said: “She was a light and she was a warrior and she’ll always be remembered for how she brought out the best in people. It’s heartbreaking.

‘We just got back from her bedside in Florida. We were all together in Florida.
