Katie Price quits Ex On The Beach role weeks after agreeing to become love guru

Katie Price has quit Ex On The Beach weeks after agreeing to star in the racy romance show.

The 42-year-old had to stand aside after filming was pushed back by four months due to the pandemic.

It was due to start in the next few months but now won’t begin until late summer.

Katie has other commitments at the time and that means she can’t take part in the MTV series, reports The Sun.

The role could have earned her a huge pay day but the star told bosses she can no longer appear.

Her rep confirmed: “Katie has commitments in the UK and is certainly focused on a super exciting year ahead.”

A source told the publication: “Katie’s so busy at the moment, she doesn’t have time and now the show has moved it’s tough to reschedule.

“She also doesn’t want to be away from her family and Carl for a long time.

“She’s talked a lot about how she wants to be engaged soon and won’t be able to bring him – or her kids – with her if she does have to go into a filming bubble.”

Katie certainly wouldn’t have gone on the show to find a new man.

She is loved up with Carl Woods – and is even thinking they might get married this year.

The former glamour model spoke in December about their romance after they fell for each other back in the summer.

“We know we are going to get married and have kids,” the star said.

“We have trademarked the name Priceywoods.

“I am so excited. It is so nice to be with a man that doesn’t want to be famous.

“There are lots of Mr Prices out there, but there are no Mr Woods.”

The mum-of-five also hopes to have a child with the Love Island hunk.

Carl has supported Katie through her injuries with her broken feet and subsequent medical treatment.
