Kelly Osbourne still doesn’t talk to sister Aimee in ongoing family feud

Kelly Osbourne has confirmed she still doesn’t talk to her sister Aimee in an ongoing family feud.

She said the estranged pair don’t talk to each other at all, as Aimee refused to be drawn into the reality show spotlight her parents and siblings shared.

Aimee even moved out of the family home to avoid being part of their MTV reality show The Osbournes, led by parents Sharon and Ozzy, when she was just 16.

And in a new interview on the Armchair Expert podcast, Kelly confirmed to presenter Dax Shepard that the duo still have no contact with one another.

“We don’t talk,” she said.

“We’re just really different. She doesn’t understand me and I don’t understand her,” Kelly explained.

37-year-old Aimee spoke out in 2015, telling The Independent that she was no longer in close contact with Kelly or her brother Jack, 35.

“I wouldn’t say there is an ease between us, but there is an acceptance. Do we socialise? No,” she said.

She and Kelly did briefly become neighbours in 2014 after Kelly purchased the house next door to her sister for $2million.

But the strain on their relationship led to both siblings putting their houses up for sale at a loss in March the following year.

Aimee has meanwhile pursued her own acting and musical career, but her record label ARO has only so far released three songs – including Raining Gold, which achieved two million hits in the first two months.

On deciding not to appear on the show, Aimee said: “Back then, I still felt I was trying to figure out who I was in the chaos of family life, so why on earth would I want that portrayed on television?

“I wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too. They were very young, very impressionable.”

Kelly admitted she had suffered a relapse last month after four years of sobriety.

In a candid social media video, Kelly said she’s “not proud of it” but “back on track” with her recovery.

“I relapsed,” she admitted. “Not proud of it, but I am back on track.”

“I just wanna let you know that I am sober today, and I’m gonna be sober tomorrow but I’ve learnt that it truly is just one day at a time and I just wanted to tell you guys the truth because I never, ever wanna lie to you,” the star explained.

Kelly’s battle with addiction began when she was just 16, when she bought Vicodin from a club.
