Kim Kardashian admits she was pressured by the show to marry ex Kris Humphries

Reality superstar Kim Kardashian has openly discussed her previous marriage to ex-husband Kris Humphries and claimed she felt “pressured” to marry the former professional basketball player.

Speaking candidly on Thursday’s reunion of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the billionaire confessed that she only went through with the wedding because production had already “spent all their production money” on the show.

The 40-year-old also admitted to having cold feet before the wedding ceremony and confessed that she felt like running away.

Talking to host Andy Cohen during the reunion episode, Kim said: “We’re filming this for a TV show. If I leave, I’m gonna be known as the runaway bride forever and it’s gonna be a huge joke and I think I just had cold feet,” she explained.

“I was like, ‘Okay guys, it’s just cold feet. I got this. It’s cold feet. We’re filming a show.’ You know, the show paid us, obviously, a fee to film the show.

“I took my entire fee and probably Kris’ because I wanted a bigger wedding than what they were gonna pay for. I spent all of our production money on the wedding.”

Divulging deeper into the conversation, presenter Andy asked the business mogul whether she “partially went through with the wedding because of the show” which Kim agreed that it was.

She said: “Yes. I will say because I felt pressured. I felt like I was gonna let everyone down.”

Later on in the show, the mother-of-four also discussed her past regrets including her infamous sex tape with singer Ray J.

Kim admitted that she would love to “erase” the sex tape as she “dreads having to tell her kids one day.”

But presenter Andy tried to add a positive spin to the narrative and asked the reality star how she thought the tape may have affected the success of the E! show.

Kim responded honestly: “I think that everything happens for a reason and I really try to live like that.

“And every time that there’s something and like a crazy scandal that feels like you can’t breathe and how are you going to get through this?

“It always is a lesson. Even if it’s a private lesson or even if it’s just something that we didn’t know what we had to go through.”

She continued: “Luckily I think that so many years have gone on and so many things have happened positivity that it really erases that.

“That is something that I have to live with for the rest of my life, but it’s something that’s being held over my head,” she explained.

“I try not to have any regrets, but it’s probably the one thing I wish didn’t exist.

“If I could erase any of the stupid things that I’ve done in life, that’s probably it.

“And it’s more so from being a mom.”

Kim was previously married to Kris Humphries from 2011-2013. She later married rapper Kanye West in May 2014 but the couple filed for divorce February of this year.
