Liam Gallgher ends feud with brother Noel as Oasis reunion predicted for 2021

Oasis fans may be in for a treat this year as a reunion is predicted for 2021 after Liam Gallagher reached out to brother Noel.

The 48-year-old singer wrote to his older sibling, who reportedly turned down £100m for an Oasis reunion in the past: “HNY Noel love you long time 2021 is our year c’mon you know LG x.”

The pair traded verbal blows on numerous occasions until the band split in 2009, with more insults slung at each other in the years that followed.

Despite this, fans have been desperate for the siblings to reunite and get back on stage.

As 2021 begins, Liam appeared to offer hope on a reunion.

While Noel, 53, is yet to respond, fans tweeted their hopes the brothers will make amends.

One wrote: “I hope it happens this year, Liam. Just a nice drink together would be grand.”

Another tweeted: “At this point I think Noel and Liam restoring their family is far better than Oasis getting back together. Like don’t get me wrong it’d be great but I think them to reconciling would be far better.”

A third added: “I’d love nowt more for you two to get back on speaking terms first then think about a reunion. I’d f***ing love to be there though if you do get back together though.”

Ladbrokes have given an Oasis reunion this year odds of 10/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Little By Little the odds of Oasis getting back together are shortening so fans may well get their wish this year.”

It comes just weeks after Liam revealed Noel turned down £100million to reunite with their bandmates.

While appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show, Liam revealed: “When someone offers you 100 million pounds to do a few gigs and that man, you’re going to go, ‘Alright then yeah…’

“There was a lot of money knocking about.”

He added: “It was 100 million pounds to do a tour and that and I’m thinking, ‘I’m not a d***head, know what I mean? I’ll have a bit of that.’

“He’s not into it, is he? He’s after a knighthood isn’t he?”
