Lisa Kudrow gushes over friend Jennifer Aniston's close bond with her son

Lisa Kudrow couldn’t help but gush over her friend Jennifer Aniston’s sweet bond with her son Julian.

It’s no secret the pair have remained very close pals ever since meeting on hit sitcom Friends, where Jen played Rachel Green and Lisa played Phoebe Buffay.

They’ve been pals since Friends first aired back in 1994, meaning their friendship has spanned more than 25 years.

And it seems as though Lisa’s 22-year-old son was just as close with Jen at one point.

Though Julian is grown up now, he would often mistake Lisa’s co-star for his mum, and crawl onto Jen’s lap when he was little.

“When we were home and we would be watching something, the show was, and there was Jennifer and Julian my son would be like ‘mummy’ and my son couldn’t see the difference,” Lisa said on Literally! With Rob Lowe podcast.

“When he did see Jennifer, he would crawl into her lap,” Lisa continued, before joking, “You prefer her, that’s fine, a lot of people do. She’s lovely.”

Jen also happens to be very close with her and Lisa’s other Friends co-star Courteney Cox.

In fact, Jen is Courteney’s daughter Coco’s godmother.

Jen is known for her social butterfly personality as celebrities often gush over how close they are with her.

It was recently revealed that Jen’s female pals call her a very special nickname because she’s “one of a kind”.

Despite the fact that Jen doesn’t have any kids of her own, she still gets called “mama” nonetheless.

Jen’s longtime friend and makeup artist Angela Levin told Hello last year that the actress is the epitome of kind.

“When I think of Jen I think of kindness, generosity, love and family,” she said as Jen appeared in Hello’s inaugural Kind List. “We call each other Mamma, not just us two but all the amazing women around her do.”

She continued: “In a sense that sums it up — we are hers and she is part of our hearts forever. Truly unique and one of a kind.”
