Little Mix 'made £200,000 per show' on pre-pandemic tour before Covid axed plans

Little Mix is said to have made £8million on their last tour before the pandemic wrecked plans for the X Factor winning group to tour their sixth studio album Confetti.

The hefty figure works out that Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson were raking in £200,000 per gig on their LM5 tour.

Newly published accounts by Daily Mail state that the iconic band were worth £50million before embarking on the UK wide trek.

But with the latest tour figures added on top, the girls are now thought to have seen their fortunes spiral to around £60 million.

Little Mix had planned on performing a further 21 shows across June and July before the pandemic hit.

The tour is was initially delayed until April 28, 2021, but was recently delayed for a further 12 months.

Earlier this week Little Mix made history after being the first girlband to ever win British Group at the BRIT Awards in London.

In the first live music event since lockdown, 4,000 Covid-tested fans made up of mainly NHS workers attended the event at The O2 Arena.

In a nod to girl groups before them, the trio dedicated their award to a series of British girl groups who all failed to win the award including 90s icons The Spice Girls.

The evening also brought them a boost when it comes to sales.

According to new data from HMV, sales of Confetti soared 900% week-on-week.

Meanwhile, Sir Elton John, who performed It’s A Sin with Years and Years’ Olly Alexander, saw sales of his Diamonds best-of record soar by 700%.

The song’s original recording artists Pet Shop Boys also quintupled sales of their greatest hits.

While Jesy didn’t attend the evening due to quitting Little Mix at the end of 2020, Daily Star recently revealed how she would still be sent the physical trophy.

A source told Daily Star ahead of the ceremony: “Little Mix are very much a three-piece now but if they win the award Jesy will still get sent a statue.

“As per BRIT awards rules every member of the band nominated to get an award and she was a member for the time they are nominated for.

“It will no doubt be bitter sweet if Little Mix do win.”
