Liz Hurley, 56, thrills fans in glamorous snap as she poses with model son Damian

Liz Hurley shared a touching tribute to her lookalike son Damian as she celebrated National Son Day – then swiftly deleted the post having shared a series of snaps with her son days prior.

The Hollywood star posted two images of herself with her stunning offspring to her Instagram page to mark the occasion but has since removed them.

Liz, 56, is seen throwing her head back and laughing in the first images as the duo look windswept with Damian giving the camera a smouldering look.

In the second snap both Damian, 19, and his mum gazed intently down the lens, their striking blue eyes sparkling in the light.

The proud model called herself the “luckiest mama” as she gushed over her son in the upload.

She wrote: “Hip hip hurrah, it’s #nationalsonday @damianhurley1 is the best son in the universe and I am the luckiest mama.”

Earlier this week Liz opened a new centre for sufferers of breast cancer in London’s Kings Cross, funded by cosmetics brand Estée Lauder.

The actress has been a Global Ambassador for The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign for over 20 years.

She donned an all-pink outfit for the event which saw her launch Future Dreams House.

Speaking at the event she said: “I’m honoured to officially open Future Dreams House ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.

“In the UK, The Estée Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Campaign is a great supporter of not only breast cancer support charity Future Dreams, but the creation of the Future Dreams House in King’s Cross.

“Future Dreams House will be a place where everyone can feel safe and included – providing a sense of community and support.”

The Future Dreams Breast Cancer Charity was founded in 2008 by Sylvie Henry and her daughter Danielle Leslie.

Their aim was to connect those suffering from a breast cancer diagnosis with others in the same position so they would know they aren’t alone.

Both women sadly passed away shortly afterwards in 2009 from the advanced form of the disease.

Speaking at the launch Danielle’s husband and Future Dream trustee Spencer said: “We are so grateful to the generosity and hard work of Future Dreams supporters, including Estée Lauder Companies, in helping turn our vision to create a welcoming space that everyone touched by breast cancer can go to for help and advice into a reality.”

Estée Lauder Companies has donated £500,000 to the charity in the past five years, enabling them to build Future Dreams House.
