Love Island bosses confirm Casa Amor return as couples risk being sent home

Love Island bosses have teased the return of Casa Amor at the end of Friday’s episode, just mere moments after Jake Cornish asked Liberty Poole to be his girlfriend.

The duo have made things official, so it looks like they could be safe, but as for the other islanders, there’s no telling what could happen.

It was teased that one final dumping will take place before the islanders head over to Casa Amor as viewers were asked to vote for their favourite couple.

In preparation for Sunday night’s episode, Iain Sterling told viewers to jump on and vote for their favourite couple and those with the least amount of votes could be dumped form the island.

Casa Amor will be returning to Love Island on Sunday night

Not only that, but it seems in the same breath some of the islanders will be sent off to Casa Amor.

The separate villa is famously drama central as couples are put to the test as they scramble to figure out if they’re happy with who they’re with, or if their head will be turned.

There are some strong couples in the villa as it stands, including Jake and Liberty, Millie and Liam and Faye and Teddy – although it does look like Kaz and Tyler are very happy getting to know one another, but it remains early days.

In the past Casa Amor has seen some dramatic recouplings, with some seemingly strong relationships breaking down at the ultimate test.

Twists in the villa have included videos being sent to the opposite villa to give a sneak-peek was to what the couples are doing on the other side.

One person who wasn’t given a warning about their coupling was Amber Gill, when she was savagely – and unexpectedly – dumped by Michael Griffiths who said he had “bitten his tongue” in certain situations.

Although fans are hoping to avoid heartbreak, they’ve also been begging for the drama, and viewers were more than happy to hear the news that Casa Amor would return.

Casa Amor, of course, returns just as couples are getting truly comfortable with one another

Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: “Casa Amor has me worried for three couples in there.”

While another person said: “Manifesting Jake being faithful at Casa Amor because I refuse to watch Liberty get her heart broken.”

A third person said: “Bring on Casa Amor where true colours show!”

Casa Amor will return to your screens on Sunday as Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2
