Love Island's Brad McClelland reunites with nan after savage villa dumping

Love Island’s Brad McClelland has reunited with his nan after three weeks in the villa and even longer in quarantine before he went on the show.

The hunk was savagely booted out of the villa after he and Lucinda Strafford were voted as the least compatible and the pair had to choose one of them to go, so Brad chose himself.

Although there were many tears over his departure, it seems Brad wasn’t too upset as he managed to return home to his nan, who he lives with in Amble.

Sharing a photo on Instagram, Brad wrote: “Well I’m back and reunited with me Nana[sic]!”

Fans quickly flocked to share their love for the Geordie as he hit a whopping 42,000 likes in less than 25 minutes of posting the photo.

He was seen cuddling his nan who was sat in a blue chair with a pink jumper and navy trousers on as she had a pair of slippers on her feet.

Meanwhile, Brad donned a grey Nike top as he grinned while having his arm around her outside their home.

Comments flooded the photo, including two love heart emojis from the people currently managing Lucinda’s Instagram.

Others included his followers saying they wish he was still in the villa, with some even suggesting it would be great for him to return for Casa Amor – now that would definitely turn heads.

Brad left the villa after a brutal twist saw the bottom couple choose between themselves who would be leaving the island – and Brad chose to put himself forward and let Lucinda stay.

Lucinda chose to stay in the villa rather than going with him, which caused uproar among some of those still in the villa – namely Faye Winter who pulled Lucinda for a chat to quiz her on the decision.

Shortly after Brad’s exit, Aaron Francis admitted he wanted to get to know the blonde beauty, and it looks like the pair are starting to get cosy.

Brad said shortly after he left that he didn’t want her to leave with him initially, but then he woke up the next day and realised that he wished they had left together.

Speaking on whether the pair will rekindle their romance, Brad said: “I didn’t expect to find anyone like her in there.

“My gut instinct would be to wait it out, see where it’s at and continue on, just to see if it was a good thing. It started off more than well. It was unreal. It would be sad not to see how it would go on the outside.”

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
