Love Island's Brad tops 2021 rich list as he's set to rake in £10k per snap

Love Island’s 2021 cast are already set to earn big bucks, with only one islander set to rake in less than £1,000 through her Instagram posts.

AJ Bunker, who has 16,000 followers on Instagram, is set to earn £384 per post, the lowest of anyone in the villa – particularly in comparison to the high figures Brad McClelland is likely to see.

Despite being dumped from the villa, a study by 10yetis.co.uk shows that Brad is set to bring home £10,000 per sponsored post on Instagram due to his follower numbers.

Brad currently boasts the most followers on the social media platform as he sits at a whopping 419,000, closely followed by Shannon Singh’s large 416,000 followers.

Shannon is set to bring home £9.8k per sponsored post, making Shannon and Dani, the first original islanders dumped, the two sitting at the top of the rich list.

However, Shannon did have one of the lowest changes in her following, with an increase of 124% compared to Brad’s whopping 1,555% increase.

Brad has been sharing his thoughts on the show since his exit and eager viewers are pressing for information on his thoughts on Lucinda Strafford, who stayed in the villa after Brad volunteered to go home.

She has since been moving in on Aaron Francis – and the longer she stays in there, it seems the higher her earnings will be as the beauty currently sits at an estimated £7,000 per post, landing her the fourth spot of the top earners.

However, Lucinda’s followers remain at 300k, which although it’s high, it is only an increase of 30% since she entered.

Although Brad sits at the top of the food chain when it comes to the amount of cash he could earn, it’s Faye Winter who has powered through with her follower increase.

Currently boasting 221,000 followers, she has seen an increase of 1,870%, closely followed behind Liberty Poole, with 353,000 followers and an increase of 1,640%.

Liberty will be able to bring home £8.3k per post, making her the highest paid islander who is currently in the villa.

Kaz Kamwi follows closely behind with £6.4k per post and an increase of 282% in her Instagram following.

Kaz was already acting as an influencer before she entered the villa, so currently boasts 272,000 followers on her profile.

However, despite islanders earning a large chunk of cash, former contestant Jack Fowler has warned them now to blow it all.

Speaking to Daily Star, he said: “A lot of people when they come off a TV show think the buzz is going to last forever – it doesn’t. You’re hot, then you’re not.

“It’s about enjoying the time that you have, utilising it and putting your money away for a rainy day.”

Islanders are often welcomed home with new deals, allowing them to drum up a lot of cash following their debut – and that’s not including the £50,000 prize for the winners.
