Love Island's Laura Whitmore shares first glimpse of baby in adorable post

Love Island host Laura Whitmore has shared the first glimpse of her newborn in a sweet post on Instagram.

It comes after Laura announced the news yesterday that she and husband Iain Stirling had welcomed their first child together.

Taking to her Instagram page, Laura shared a post of herself carrying her baby daughter in a papoose, with the little one’s heaad slightly poking out.

The new mum looked effortlessly stylish as she rocked an cool spring denim jacket with her newborn nestled into her chest.

She popped on a cool pair of dark shades as she appeared to get some fresh air with her tot.

Taking a moment to appreciate those who had flooded in well wished for the pair and their baby, she issued thanks to her 1.3million followers.

She captioned: “Thanks for all the kind messages at this time. We are in love x”

Neither Laura or the Love Island narrator have shared a full picture of their firstborn child which could indicate that the pair are hoping to keep their little one away from the spotlight.

Other celebrities such as Holly Willoughby, Rio and Kate Ferdinand have also opted to conceal their youngsters’ identities when it comes to sharing images online.

The ITV presenter and Iain confirmed they were expecting in mid-December, sharing the gleeful news on Instagram.

Laura announced that she was expecting a “baby girl” in her new self-help book

The happy announcement landed a day after it had been uncovered that the on-air pair had married in secret.

Earlier this year, Laura confirmed that was expecting a daughter in her new book, No One Can Change Your Life Except for You.

She penned: “As I finish this book, it doesn’t end at chapter nine, there’s a new chapter coming into my life – in the form of a baby girl currently growing inside me and that scares the s**t out of me.

“I once swallowed a bug and freaked out there was a live bug inside me. A live human is a whole new level of freaking out but I am excited because there’s a lot of good in the world, there’s a lot of potential.”
