The couple, who won the first-ever winter edition of Love Island last year, were in good company at the event, which honours the “unsung heroes” of the nation.

And the Young Fundraiser of the Year award was won by Brynn Hauxwell, 16, from Yell, who travelled nearly 1,700 miles last year by wheelchair to raise money for charity.

Delighted to see so many heroes receive the deserved accolades, host Kirsty said: “This show is all about celebrating the absolute best of Scotland, no matter how young or old, they have all gone to extraordinary lengths to help others.”
