Love Island's Shannon Singh rekindles romance with DJ ex after two-day ITV stint

Former Love Island contestant Shannon Singh has confirmed that she has revived a relationship with an ex-boyfriend she had broken up with prior to joining villa.

The 23-year-old glamour model rose to fame on Love Island’s 2021 series as one of the original girls, but also as the first contestant to be dumped from the villa after only 48 hours.

Nevertheless, this shocking ITV whirlwind may have been the best thing to happen to the TV personality who has gone on to get back together with her DJ ex-boyfriend, Ben Sterling.

Ben and Shannon started dating last year before splitting in March this year, a month after jetting to Mexico for the DJ’s birthday celebrations.

Despite the separation and failing to find love in Majorca, the model seems to have kept an interest in romance after all.

She told MailOnline: “Ben and I bumped into each other a few weeks ago at a festival and we have decided to see where things go.”

The Scottish-native explained that her rekindled romance was not official, but she did admit that the pair was enjoying each other’s company.

However, Shannon revealed that the lovebirds were not “putting any pressure on things”.

The announcement comes a week after the influencer hinted at the relationship when she shared a snap of her beau captioned: “Find your happiness folks and make sure you keep it.”

The ex-islander recently made headlines after launching a brand new positivity campaign on her social media accounts.

She shared a breathtaking nude shot with her 445,000 followers on Instagram, revealing her new wellness campaign, #ILoveMine.

In the photograph, Shannon was seen covering her breasts with her hands, and had the word “mine” written all over her body in black ink.

“It’s time to stop giving our ‘likes’ to other people and to start liking ourselves,” she wrote.

As her groundbreaking campaign urged people to start practicing self-love, the influencer encouraged her followers to tag her in their photos “celebrating themselves”.

The post received a lot of positive feedback and was liked by more than 85,000 people since its first day of being uploaded.

Former Love Island contestant Shaughna Phillips commented: “This is amazing,” along with a heart emoji.

Shannon has since been sharing photos of fans showing their bodies on her Instagram stories.
