Love Island's Shaughna Phillips thinks Casa Amor will rip Jake and Liberty apart

Love Island 2021 power couple Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish will be ripped apart by Casa Amor, according to former islander Shaughna Phillips.

The former democratic services officer tried her luck on the ITV2 dating show last year in the first-ever winter series.

She was left devastated when her partner Callum Jones returned from the Casa Amor villa with bombshell Molly Smith on his arm last year.

Shaughna thinks that the dreaded challenge will “rock a few couples” when it returns for series seven, including fan favourites Jake and Liberty.

Speaking to Daily Star, the former islander explained: “I was really scared I was going to struggle to watch it as a viewer because I know what goes on behind the scenes and that but I’ve absolutely not struggled and i’m hook, line and sinker.

“I think Casa Amor will rock a couple of feathers. I’m scared i’m going to have PTSD watching it but i’m looking forward to it never the less.

“I am keeping everything cross from my girl Liberty but Jake is just not filling me with confidence at all.”

She added: “Regardless if he goes off with someone else, she likes him more than he likes her and that’s always a tricky game to play.

“You never know he could be loyal and she could be swept off her feet and i’m here for it.”

Shaughna went on to reveal which lucky boy has caught her eye in the 2021 cast.

“I like Liam because he’s so tall, dark and handsome. Tyler is gorgeous and Teddy definitely gives me Ovie vibes.

“I prefer the bombshells though to the original boys.”

The latest season has only been on our screens for three weeks and fans have already said goodbye to eight islanders.

Giving her opinion on the dumpings, Shaughna said: “They are brutal this year. Even thinking of Shannon leaving within 48 hours that was brutal.

“I suppose sometimes it’s a little bit difficult to think how someone can make the connection and potentially break up a couple.”

Shaughna went on to share who she thinks will follow in the footsteps of her pals Paige Turley and Finn Tapp, who were crowned the winners of series six in February 2020.

“Milly and Liam win. They are liked together. I love Liberty but I don’t like Jake. If it’s those in the final I definitely think Liam and Milly will do it.
