Matt previously revealed: “Some people said that Little Britain was a bit rude and mum was one of those who thought it was a bit smutty.”

Matt and Diane will be joining a whole host of other celebrities on Friday night’s Gogglebox special.

The mother-son duo are doing the show to support Stand Up to Cancer

Joining them will be actor Michael Sheen and his partner Anna Lundberg, as well as Graham Norton and Drag Race UK’s Michelle Visage.

On joining the cast, Graham said: “Cancer keeps robbing us of the most wonderful people so it’s an honour for Michelle and me to be taking our places on the hallowed Gogglebox sofa for this year’s Stand Up To Cancer campaign.

Michelle added: “I love Gogglebox and I adore Graham Norton, so this is my idea of sheer heaven.

“Every penny raised goes towards finding cures for cancer so I hope we can help raise bucket loads of money.”

The special edition of the show will also feature some familiar faces as regulars Jenny and Lee, Pete and Sophie, Marcus and Mica and the Siddiqui family are also on the episode, which airs at 9pm.
