Maura Higgins 'fuming' after ex Curtis Pritchard drops jibe about her 'cheating'

Maura Higgins is reportedly “fuming” over her ex-boyfriend Curtis Pritchard over his “cheating” jibe.

The 30-year-old media personality, who is now dating fellow Love Island star Chris Taylor, is said to be angry after professional dancer Curtis suggested she cheated on him during their relationship.

Curtis made several savage remarks during his stint on Channel 4 show Stand Up and Deliver.

He commented on a number of female Love Island cast-members, saying getting to know them was like taking a car for a test drive, “If you don’t like it, you send it back.”

Curtis also said he enjoys a smooth whisky because you can “trust the flavour will never cheat on you… unlike my ex-girlfriend.”

The show will see a string of celebrities including Shaun Ryder team up with a real-life comedian and perform in front of an audience, raising funds for cancer charities.

Curtis told The Sun: “Love Island is in there, absolutely, there were lots of comedy elements in that.

“Comedy is meant to be edgy, pushing the boundaries and at the end of the day, it’s meant to be just good fun and enjoyment for everyone that’s going to listen, that’s the answer I’ll give for that.”

Maura and Curtis first met when they both took part in Love Island 2019 and they made it to the final three before losing to Amber Gill and Greg Davies.

They split up seven months after leaving the show and said it was due to their busy work schedules.

The couple announced their split on Instagram, with Maura saying: “There is no easy way to get through a breakup and no bad feeling on either side. We tried to make it work but it wasn’t to be and I wish Curtis nothing but the best for the future.”

A year after her split from Curtis, Maura delighted fans by revealing she’d found love with Love Island 2019 star Chris Taylor.
