Naga Munchetty shares cryptic post about 'seeing through people'

BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty sparked concern with her fans after she shared a post of some text on her social media page.

The 46-year old presenter shared the text that was originally written by Hollywood star Drew Barrymore.

She shared the wise words to her Instagram stories on Thursday.

Written in white text on a black background, the quote reads: “Funny thing about getting older. Your eyesight starts getting weaker, but your ability to see through people gets much better.”

Some fans were worried about the post, wondering if everything was OK.

As the post was shared on her story and not her main Instagram grid, fans can only send a direct message to Naga about the post.

It’s not known if she replied to any concerned viewers, or whether her comment was aimed at anyone in particular.

Naga regularly shares updates about her life with fans on social media, and her last grid post featured one that showed off her recent hard work with exercise.

She took an impressively sweaty snap after finishing a particularly difficult run.

The fit star wrote an honest caption alongside the image, confessing: “Run done. Never easy.

“99% of the time am pleased I did it. Now onwards with Thursday.”

Fans were impressed that she still looked photogenic: “Naga what eye makeup do you use and it still stays on?! Incredible.”

Another agreed: “How does someone look this good after a run!”

Looks like that was some run Naga!” a third cheered her on.

Earlier this week she proved that she can still fit into a tiny red football mini dress from 1996.

Under the picture of her wearing the red dress emblazoned with an England logo, she wrote: “Dug this dress out from the back of the wardrobe,”

“I last wore it in 1996. Today seemed like a good day to wear it again,” finished off with lots of heart, fingers crossed, and England flag emojis.
