“Our hearts are shattered.”

A source cited as a family friend told People magazine that Harry had been struggling with addiction.

The insider said: “It’s hard, anyone who knows addiction knows this.

“We all knew he had this problem.”

They added that Harry’s father “had been trying to get him to go to rehab again” to help overcome his problems.

The source said that Harry “had everything going on for him and was way beyond his years”.

Hinting at Harry’s battle away from the camera, the family statement continued: “Harry was not just our son, he was also a wonderful brother, loving grandson, favorite uncle and a caring friend.

“We will forever be saddened that Harry’s life was cut short by this devastating disease.

“We ask that you please allow our family privacy as we attempt to cope with the loss of our beautiful, beautiful boy.”
