Oti Mabuse issues warning to Jamie Laing as he teases Strictly tell-all

Strictly Come Dancing ace Oti Mabuse has been left squirming after her former BBC dancing partner Jamie Laing warned her about his upcoming book.

The Made In Chelsea star reached out to Oti to give her a head up that his publishers were keen to include a section in the book about their friendship.

Speaking via FaceTime in a teaser for the release, Jamie said: “So my publishers have asked if I can tell the story of when you and I…”

A beeping noise is then placed over the audio to blank out the details for fans.

However, as Jamie continued, Oti looked uncomfortable.

Laughing awkwardly, Oti replied: “Jamie, no. You can not put that out. No you can’t. Jamie, you can’t.”

Giggling cheekily, Jamie added: “Listen, I can explain…

“It will be a really good idea, I promise.”

Posting the clip to his official Twitter account, Jamie announced the release of his book writing: “Guys I’m so excited to announce I’m writing a book ‘I Can Explain’.

“It’s honest, helpful, funny (hopefully), about mental health, business and lots more!

“I feel I need to explain a lot so here it is! You can preorder now with the link – I hope you like it.”

The book is set to detail Jamie’s countryside upbringing to boarding school and his stint on E4 reality show Made In Chelsea.

Jamie will also open up about suffering from ‘crippling anxiety’ despite his seemingly confident exterior.

Meanwhile, Jamie’s BFF Spencer Matthews also appeared to be uneasy about the impending release.

Speaking during the clip, the star said: “You alway look so stupid. What are you doing?”

Jamie replied: “I have told my publishers about the time that you …. and it is going to be in my book is that ok?”

Looking more annoyed than amused, Spencer hit back: “Of course it’s f***ing not.

“No. Why why why. Mate no.

“Firstly its astounding that anyone ha given you a book deal and secondly, no you can’t include that in your book.”

I Can Explain is slated for release on September 16.
