Phillip Schofield teases Holly Willoughby as she 'quickly moves on with new man'

Phillip Schofield jokingly fumed at his TV wife Holly Willoughby after finding out she could be ‘leaving him for another man’ – Bradley Walsh.

For years and years, This Morning hosts Phil and Holly have enjoyed their status as the nation’s favourite TV couple whilst presenting their award-winning ITV chat show.

However, when they both appeared on BBC’s The One Show during Thursday night’s episode, it looked like the iconic presenters were left facing a rather awkward situation amid Holly’s latest TV project.

It comes as his fellow host Holly is set to star alongside Bradley Walsh, who anchors The Chase, on their new BBC game show called Take Off with Bradley and Holly which airs on Saturday (24 July).

But on Thursday’s edition of The One Show it looked like Holly’s chat show hubby Phil had been left fearing that Holly had dumped him for “another man” – cheeky-chappie Bradley.

Welcoming Holly onto the show, Ronan explained the online backlash Holly received when she announced she was partnering up with Bradley for the game show – after fans thought Holly had ‘dumped’ poor Phil.

Host Alex Jones then revealed to Holly that Phil had sent in an exclusive video message, and that he was “equally as shocked” at the news.

A comically heart-broken Phil then appeared on screen, saying: “Wow… that happened quickly.

“Break up for the summer and the next thing I know is you’re with another man. Okay, okay, it’s fine.”

An emotional looking Schofe then took a moment to contain himself before finally saying: “I’m obviously devastated but I want the dog and the CD collection.”

Holly then burst out laughing at Phil’s video and said it was “amazing”, before quipping: “I’d love to say I traded him for a younger model but that’s not the case with Bradley Walsh”.

However, she then put the rumours to rest and confirmed she wouldn’t be dumping Phil any time soon, with Ronan saying: “Holly say it ‘aint so!”

The blonde beauty then said: “It’s not happening. No-one’s being traded in. I’ve got enough love in my heart for these two men. One on the ITV, one on the BBC.”

Phil and Holly have been enjoying a break from This Morning whilst they enjoy a summer holiday away from the studio with their resepctive families.

On Holly’s upcoming chat show with Bradley, they give away dream holidays to some lucky candidates, and the show is set to start airing on BBC One at 6pm on Saturday 24 July.
