Piers Morgan and Kate Garraway among celebs celebrating England Euros win

Some of England’s most famous faces from the world of television and showbiz have been joining in with the celebrations after the England booked their place in the final of Euro 2021 final.

On an incredible evening of football a Wembley Stadium crowd of 65,000 people witnessed England beat Denmark 2-1 in a match that went into extra time.

Harry Kane scored the eventual winner after he missed a penalty but was able to react quickest to the rebound and slam the ball in the back of the net.

England’s progress through the competition has pulled everyone in the country together with both old and young, rich and poor, all getting swept up in the joy and drama of the beautiful game.

International superstar singer Adele shared footage of the England captain slotting away the team’s second goal on Instagram and wrote: “ITS BLOODY COMING HOME”.

Piers Morgan took a selfie of himself at Wembley fist pumping the air in excitement and added: “BOOOOOOOOMMMM!!”

Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway shared a video of one of her children tearing through the house with an England flag wrapped around him before he stumbled and fell to the ground.

Kate posted on Instagram: YAAAAAAAAS!!! #thedreamisalive – #itscominghome The final – actually a FINAL ps no celebrating 11 yr olds were hurt in the filming of this video. #euro2020.”

And on the Jenny and Lee Gogglebox Instagram page, it said: “Whoop whoop well done England.”

In a tweet from Ant and Dec’s joint Twitter account, McPartlin said he is “actually crying”.
