Lorraine Kelly recently spoke about her belief that Piers Morgan will end up returning to present Good Morning Britain at some point.
Despite the exit originally being met with initial scepticism, it became clear quite quickly that Piers was really gone for good but now just three months later, Lorraine is sure he will return.
While speaking to The Sun she said: “He will be back in some shape or form, I have no doubt.
“I know nothing, but never count him out of anything.
“What’s that game where you bash things and they keep coming back? That’s him.
“He’s still doing Life Stories and all of that. He’s tweeting his a** off and writing his columns.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back. Nothing would surprise me about Piers.”
Piers left after openly saying that he didn’t believe what Meghan had said in her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
He said: “What did they say to you? I’m sorry, I don’t believe a word she said, Meghan Markle. I wouldn’t believe it if she read me a weather report.”
The flippant comments caused a backlash, with ITV executives supposedly wanting Morgan to apologise for his behaviour on air.
It all came to a head when confronted life on air by colleague Alex Beresford, causing Piers to storm off the set of the show.

Alex said to Piers: “I understand you’ve got a personal relationship with Meghan Markle, or had one, and she cut you off. She’s entitled to cut you off if she wants to. Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? I don’t think she has but yet you continue to trash her.”
Piers had recently told The Sun that ITV had been in contact with him about a possible contact.
Lorraine went on to discuss her opinions on Piers.
Lorraine said: “He’s been very quiet, has Piers. I’ve not heard a peep from him since,
“I have a lot of time for him.
“He’s very kind to me. He goes crazy when I say this – he doesn’t like me doing it – but he’s actually a really nice guy.
“He says to me ‘will you stop saying that I’m a nice person because it’s very bad for my brand’. That makes me want to do it even more!”
