Bosses at ITV are reportedly “discussing” Piers Morgan’s conduct after a number of complaints called into question a public exchange with former research Adeel Amini.
The Piers Morgan’s Life Stories crew member posted on his social media and encouraged followers to respond to his questions about working within the industry.
He then stated that he would “very much say no” to working with the Good Morning Britain presenter again.
While Adeel didn’t tag or reference the 55-year-old directly, Piers discovered the tweet and chose to quote him directly.

“I’m gonna poke the beast here,” Adeel began, who has also worked on other entertainment programmes such as Catchphrase.
“TV freelancers: would you turn down a job based on a company’s previous output / who the presenter was / what message the show sends?” the former employee continued.
“(Full disclosure: I worked on P*ers M*rgan’s Life Stories as a researcher but now I’d very much say no).”
Quoting a reply, Piers said: “Hi Adeel, you spent precisely two months working on Life Stories in 2010 & judging by your CV that was the pinnacle of your TV career.

“So you really don’t need to worry about getting any more job offers from me because I’d rather employ a lobotomised Aardvark.”
Broadcast Now said that bosses at ITV will be “discussing” the journalist’s “conduct” as a result.
The publication then stated that “at least one person contacted Carolyn McCall, Kevin Lygo and Ade Rsawcliffe” to complain about the tweet.

Addressing the claims by quoting the publication, Piers then wrote: “Yes, and I am discussing abusive hypocrite @adeelamini’s conduct with ITV.”
ITV and Piers Morgan have been contacted for comment.

Adeel later added: “Jokes aside (+ my last note on the matter): call out bullying. Wherever you see it, whoever it’s from.
“Call out bullies. Call out systems/people that enable them. Call out people abusing their power. Call out those who co-opt ‘Be Kind’ and target others. Your voice matters.”
