Rebekah Vardy fears her 'resting b***h face' will annoy Dancing On Ice viewers

Jamie Vardy’s wife Rebekah Vardy says she fears her “resting b***h face” will be her biggest weakness when competing on Dancing On Ice.

The WAG, who is currently locked in a legal battle with Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen Rooney, jokes that she hopes now her Botox has worn off a bit viewers will see she is really smiling despite looking glum at times.

Rebekah, 38, said: “I’m not going to lie, I am really competitive but not in a bad way.

“Anything I do I like to give it 100 per cent and you’ll probably see quite a bit of determination from me.

“My weaknesses – I think I’ll have to throw the resting b***h face in there!

“I have this resting b***h face and I know I’ve got it but I’m smiling on the inside. I really am!

“To other people it looks like I’m miserable. Now the Botox is wearing off hopefully the happy features will start coming through.”

The former I’m A Celeb babe continued: “I wouldn’t say I’m in it to win it but that’s the show at the end of the day and it’s a challenge and someone’s got to win!

“I think criticism is great. I take on board constructive criticism and I welcome it.

Rebekah added: “My strength is my determination.

“I don’t give up and that’s my mantra really – live by the blade, die by the blade is what I would say.”

Rebekah will take to the ice alongside a host of famous faces including Myleene Klass, Denise Van Outen, Rufous Hound and Jason Donovan.

Dancing on Ice bosses were recently forced into introducing new Covid measures to ensure the safety of the stars after the country was placed into a new lockdown.

Judges Ashley Banjo, John Barrowman, Christopher Dean, and Jayne Torvill, will now be separated on the panel by Perspex screens – much like on fellow ITV series The Masked Singer.

The planned live audience has also been axed to ensure social distancing can be maintained.

ITV said: “We have stringent protocols in place to ensure the health and safety of all our contributors and staff which are routinely monitored and updated to reflect the current guidelines.”

Dancing on Ice launches Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
