Rebekah Vardy put skating partner in hospital after gory training accident

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Rebekah Vardy has admitted that she’s accidentally put her professional skating partner in hospital ahead of their Dancing on Ice debut.

The WAG, who is married to Leicester City star Jamie Vardy, spoke about the horror incident ahead of her Dancing on Ice debut.

Rebekah, who is paired with Andy Buchanan, said: “I seem to be the only one who’s ended up hurting my pro, putting him in hospital.

“I do apologise. No, it was awful. I think I’ve just come to terms with scarring his face.”

She added: “We were practicing a trick and we changed it slightly from something that we would normally do – and we did it on a daily basis and everything would go right and nothing would go wrong.

“On this occasion, it went very wrong and the back of my heel and my blade sliced his face open.

“He was fine. All he was concerned about was making sure that he could skate the next day, where I was not interested in that in the slightest, I just wanted to make sure that he was OK.

“It was quite scary. But it brings back the realisation that what we’re doing is really bl**dy dangerous, but he’s fine. It’s a bit dramatic but he’s OK.”

Rebekah also said ahead of her debut that she was worried that viewers at home may not like her due to her “resting b**ch face”.

She shared: “I’m not going to lie, I am really competitive but not in a bad way.

“Anything I do I like to give it 100 per cent and you’ll probably see quite a bit of determination from me.”

“My weaknesses – I think I’ll have to throw the resting b***h face in there!

“I have this resting b***h face and I know I’ve got it but I’m smiling on the inside. I really am!

“To other people it looks like I’m miserable. Now the Botox is wearing off hopefully the happy features will start coming through.”
