Stacey Solomon quits social media after vile troll mocks her appearance

X Factor hopeful turned Loose Women regular Stacey Solomon has quit social media once more after a vile troll mocked her appearance.

The doting mum hit back publicly after a online bully branded her ‘horse face’.

Stacey, 31, spotted the nasty comment underneath one of her latest Instagram pictures.

Rather than letting the incident slide, Stacey screenshotted the post before hitting back.

Stacey said: “Horses are so beautiful…thank you.

“Looks like you’re not feeling great. Wish you better.”

Trying to see the funny side, Stacey added two laughing emojis. The anonymous account replied again repeating the vile dig. Keen not to get drawn into a back and forth, Stacey didn’t comment back.

The starlet was quickly supported by a string of messages from her fans.

After sharing some of the messages, Stacey continued: “Honestly, this is why I love this little world so much…because it just proves.

“For every unhappy, mean individual out there, there’s so many more kind, supportive, loving humans to outshine the nastiness.

“What a lovely thought.”

Mocking the troll, Stacey later used the insult on herself.

Talking to the camera, she added: “Taking this gorgeous horse face to bed.”

She added of her evening skin care routine: “Cleaning my face is probably one of my favourite things at the end of the day.”

However, while she may have not taken the comment to heart, Stacey has since confirmed she is taking a break from social media.

Joe Swash’s fiancé wrote: “I’m going to sleep now, probably for a few days!

“Spend some time with the boys before school and just put my phone in a drawer for a while.

“Have the best Sunday. I know I’ve said it many times, but thank you for everything.

“Love you all to the moon and back! ALWAYS!”

Stacey’s final message was one of self love.

The ITV regular said: “Don’t ever feel less than what you are … perfect.”

This isn’t the first time Stacey has taken a break from social media.

She previously admitted that sometimes being in the public eye can be overwhelming and admits she needs to take a time out to focus on her family.
