Stephanie Davis in 'the worst pain she's ever been in' after Covid hospital dash

Former Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis has provided her fans with another health update and said she’s “getting there” after her dash to hospital last week Thursday.

The actress tested positive for coronavirus and has been struggling to breath while in severe pain.

But judging from her most recent update, it appears things may finally be getting better for Stephanie.

On Wednesday evening, the star uploaded an image of herself laying down on her hospital bed.

Appearing fairly drowsy in the pic, she captioned the post: “After the worst pain I’ve ever been, I’m getting there now. Love to you all,” followed by a love heart and prayer hands emojis.

Previously, the mother-of-one expressed her agony to her fans online.

Speaking candidly, Stephanie said: “Hi, guys, thanks for all your messages. I can’t sleep well. I’m getting the camera down today. I woke up in pain. I’m just going to focus on getting well now but I just wanted to say, thank you for all your messages.”

“I’ve woke up starving and I can’t wait to be able eat again. But yeah, I’m sitting her on my love.

“Covid has been absolutely horrific.”

“Today or yesterday was the worst day yet. I’m just focusing on getting better. But thank you for all your messages. It really means a lot. I’ll let you all know when I’m feeling a little better.”

Even though she’s in her twenties, Stephanie falls into the high risk Covid category as she suffers from asthma.

MailOnline recently reported that the star also suffers from serious food allergies and has a history of anaphylaxis.

Due to this, there may be complications with her receiving the vaccination.

The jab contains polyethylene glycol which is a substance that can potentially trigger allergic reactions in very rare cases.

The Government has advised that the jabs should not be administered to those who have “had a previous systemic allergic reaction (including immediate-onset anaphylaxis)” to either a previous dose of the Covid jab, or any other component of the jab.

Stephanie starred as a regular character on Channel 4’s Hollyoaks from 2010-2019.

The actress played the boisterous Sinead O’Connor in the soap.
