Strictly hunk says there's 'no way' he'd date dance partner Ranvir Singh

Giovanni, 30, was partnered with 43-year-old Ranvir on last years Strictly, with the pair often facing claims that their friendship was blossoming into a romance.

However, the Italian born dancer has now had the final say, cementing that the couple are just “very, very good friends”.

Speaking to Entertainment Daily, Giovanni admitted that he and Ranvir are in constant communication with the pair hoping to dance again together once the lockdown restrictions have eased.

Speaking of their alleged romance, he said: “No, no, no, no, no. I’m single; absolutely there’s no way – we are very good friends.”

Despite denying any blossoming romance while they appeared on the hit Saturday night dance competition, the pair went on to deliver a string of steamy performances, something that Giovanni believes was a correct move.

He went on to add: “If people at home or the judges think you have a great connection then it means my job, what I’m doing, is perfect. We deliver exactly what the dances require. Remember, we are actors.”

While they may have won the judges and viewers at home over, Ranvir and Giovanni failed to secure a spot in the top four, eventually being given the boot in week eight.
