This Morning viewers floored by Lenny Henry's epic weight loss transformation

This Morning viewers were left with their jaws on the floor as comedian Lenny Henry appeared on Monday’s show.

The 62-year-old chatted to hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby about his autobiography.

As he chatted about his childhood in Dudley and winning New Faces to become a household name, fans were distracted by his appearance.

Lenny’s weight loss wasn’t discussed during the interview but viewers at home rushed to their keyboards to compliment his new look.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Lenny Henry looks like he’s lost a lot of weight.”

Another added: “Lenny Henry has lost a load of weight.”

Lenny opened up about his dramatic weight loss in 2018, revealing he shed the pounds for a television role.

Speaking to Daily Mail at the time, the TV star explained: “I have heard that I’ve lost all this weight for a variety of reasons. None of them true.”

He added that the real version of events is that he’s playing a man “who doesn’t get three full meals a day” and he couldn’t have got the part without losing weight.

Sir Lenny had originally showcased a slimmer physique during Comic Relief in 2017, but he has continued his transformation even more since then.
