Alison and Dermot forced to apologise as Deborah Meaden swears twice on This Morning

This Morning’s Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary were forced to apologise as Dragons’ Den star Deborah Meaden cursed twice live on the ITV show.

The 62-year-old businesswomen appeared on the daytime show to promote the return of the BBC series.

Dragons’ Den returns for its nineteenth season on Thursday evening and will see a fresh batch of business minds pitch their propositions with the hope of acquiring investments from the panel.

Deborah, Peter Jones, Touker Suleyman and Sara Davies will be making a comeback alongside a brand new panellist.

They will be joined by 29-year-old entrepreneur, podcast host and Sunday Times best-selling author, Steven Bartlett.

He is the youngest Dragon in the show’s history.

While speaking about the show, Deborah accidentally swore twice leaving Dermot and Alison to apologise for her bad language.

After realising she made the blunder, the TV star could be seen covering her face with her hands.

During the end of the interview, Alison joked: “You can go and wash your mouth out now” making light of the situation.

A mortified Deborah apologised as their chat came to a close.

Viewers watching at home rushed to their keyboards to discuss the awkward TV moment.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Deborah said bulls**t. Funniest moment of 2022 on This Morning.”

Another added: “Deborah Meaden saying ‘Bulls**t’ on live television…I salute her.

A third person posted: “OMG Deborah Meaden cursing twice on This Morning.”

“I turn my back for five minutes and Deborah Meaden says bulls**t live on #ThisMorning!,” a fourth person wrote.

Deborah Meaden says she’s ‘not a fan’ of Black Friday

It comes after Deborah left The One Show viewers concerned during her recent appearance on the BBC programme.

She appeared via video link but alarmed fans who said she looked like she was kidnapped.

“Any reason Deborah Meaden looks like she’s in the Blair witch project,” one social media user penned.

A second person added: “”Is Deborah Meaden in an underground bunker?”

While a third person said: Has @DeborahMeaden been kidnapped? She seems to be filming the one show from the set of a hostage video?”

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am and Dragons’ Den returns to BBC One on Thursday at 8pm
