Ben Shephard admits wardrobe fear as he issues Tipping Point: Lucky Stars news

Ben Shephard has revealed some exciting news for Tipping Point fans – but he joked his steam were suffering from “Stockholm syndrome” given their choice of outfit.

The presenter hosts the hit ITV game show Tipping Point, which sees four players try to win money from the Tipping Point machine as they answer quiz questions.

Ben took to Twitter on Thursday (June 23) to announce filming for Tipping Point: Lucky Stars was coming to an end.

Lucky Stars is a celebrity spin-off version of the game show which has been running since 2013.

However, he seemed rather concerned as members of his team were sporting pajamas to the studio with Ben’s face plastered all over.

Ben was snapped smiling next to two of his executives producers, who looked rather cosy in their Ben-themed garments.

It led poor Ben to tease that merchandise for the popular game show must be “getting out of hand.”

Ben said: “Coming to the end of this years filming for@TippingPointITV #LuckyStars you can tell Stockholm syndrome has set in my execs are now wearing #benshephard pajama’s…

” I think the merch thing is getting out of hand. I blame Mary!@itvcorrie”

He definitely saw the funny side of the pajamas, though, because he used laughing emojis in his tweet.

One fan replied: “I could use a pair of those. Not only do I watch Tipping Point while eating breakfast, but I also watch Ben on Good Morning Britain right before I go to bed. I think a pair would be more than appropriate for me. Lol.”
