Britain's Got Talent fans all make same Amanda Holden complaint minutes into ITV show

Radio host and TV personality Amanda Holden returned to ITV series Britain’s Got Talent last night (April 14, 2022) – but many fans took to social media to make the same complaint about the star minutes into the show.

The 51-year-old star sat alongside fellow judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams on the latest installment of Britain’s Got Talent – but fans were quick to point out one of the star’s habits on social media.

Minutes into the episode, many fans complained about the Amanda’s laugh, with one saying: “Oh god here comes Amanda annoying fake laugh SHUT UP! #BritainsGotTalent #BGT.”

A second added: “Why does Amanda’s laugh sound like Finger nails on a blackboard #BGT.”

A third commented: “Here comes Amandas cackle #bgt,” while a fourth said: “I have nightmares about amanda’s fake laugh #BGT.”

Despite the complaints, fans also took to social media to praise a number of stand out acts throughout the episode, which took place at The London Palladium.

These included pantomime tribute Dame Nation, who delighted audiences with their rendition of It’s Raining Men – with the lyrics changed to It’s Raining Dames.

Teenage comedian Eva Abley, who suffers from cerebral palsy, was also a hit with the four judges as well as the London Palladium audience and viewers at home, with the 14-year old widely praised on social media.

One viewer said: “Absolutely loved Eva on Britain’s Got Talent tonight. Just shows that a disability does not make you stop living your life to the full. I’m going to love seeing her performing more stand up routines in the next round. Good on you girl !! #BGT #BritainsGotTalent.”

A second fan also praised the young comedian, saying: “Eva is something rare in comedy today she was funny, brave and confident for such a young girl #BGT.”

A third also continued the praise, saying: “Eva was such a likeable person, so funny and witty and watching her Dad in the audience was heartwarming #BGT.”
