Britain's Got Talent Jonathan and Charlotte star looks very different 10 years later

Britain’s Got Talent’s Charlotte Jaconell looks completely unrecognisable 10 years after finding fame.

The ITV talent show has returned with a bang this year, with golden buzzers, amazing acts and millions of people being entertained by the best the country has to offer.

Everyone taking to the stage is hopeful of being the next Susan Boyle, Diversity or Lost Voice Guy.

Of course, not all of them can, but we often remember acts that don’t win more than those that take the crown.

That’s certainly the case with the 2012 series, which saw partners Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconell enter the competition.

Charlotte and Jonathan first met at West Hatch High School in their hometown of Chigwell, Essex when they were 11 years old.

A chance suggestion by their singing teacher that they should try singing together was what encouraged them to audition for Simon Cowell’s talent show.

They wowed the judges in their audition – though Simon Cowell advised Jonathan to audition on his own after hearing his voice.

She’s even kept up with some BGT famous faces, like performing in an adaptation of David Walliams’s novels

The 17-year-old opted to stick with Charlotte, and the singing duo made it all the way to the final, just falling short to Ashleigh and Pudsey, finishing in second place.

After the show, the pair were offered a £1million record deal with Cowell’s Syco but parted ways with the record label two years later after two successful albums.

The pair decided to part ways after being offered solo albums with Sony Classical.

Now, ten years on, Charlotte can be found sharing snaps of her busy life on her Instagram which has over 20,000 followers.

Charlotte appears to have studied at ArtsEd, one of London’s top drama schools, graduating in 2018, as OK! reports.

She has continued to tread the boards, making her West End debut in 2018 as an ensemble member of the original UK Heathers The Musical Cast, starring alongside Since September’s Jacob Fowler and West End icon, Carrie Hope Fletcher.

Following this, she went on to be an original member of the RSC show, The Boy in the Dress, based on David Walliams’s hit children’s book and featuring songs from Robbie Williams.

Charlotte is a big advocate for body positivity and representation in the entertainment industry and recently called for there to be HR help for theatre performers.

Her old singing partner Jonathan is set to release his third solo album this week.

Jonathan also looks unrecognisable after a significant weight loss since his BGT days a decade ago.

Jonathan also said he would be open to having a 20 year reunion with his former best friend.
