Celebrity SAS fans fume over lack of screentime for Maisie Smith and Ashley Cain

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins viewers have been left fuming as Maisie Smith has barely been shown on the show.

The EastEnders star joined a whole load of celebs on the gruelling SAS show which tests the famous folk and puts them through their paces.

On Sunday night (September 25), fans of the show stormed to Twitter to reveal why they were annoyed with Channel 4 producers.

One fan wrote: “#SASWhoDaresWins if they don’t start showing more of the rest of the contestants I’m actually gonna be fuming like where are they at, I wanna see all of them, give @maisie_smith_ @MrAshleyCain and the rest of them some screen time.”

Another replied: “I forgot Maisie Smith was in it! Haven’t seen her for ages. For some reason Fearne is getting allllllll the screen time.”

While a third ranted: “FFS show some of the others taking part in this! It’s getting boring now. #SASWhoDaresWins.”

Another then piped up about how one of the professionals spoke to the female contestants.

They said: “No, DON’T tell women to “f—king smile’ when they talk about their trauma. Honestly. What is this show…?! Channel-hopped to #SASWhoDaresWins watched it for a second, only to see this macho nonsense… do the men get told to man up?! #backwards.”

“He just told a female competitor to smile more. Sexism 101 #SASWhoDaresWins,” posted another viewer.

This comes after Maisie had teased her return to the popular BBC One soap.

She quit her part as Tiffany Butcher late last year but fans are hopeful that she could come back.

The Strictly Come Dancing winner, 21, has admitted that she could “reunite” with her Albert Square family at any point.

She told Inside Soap magazine: “The moment I left they said to me ‘We’re so excited to see what you’re going to do, but you’re always welcome to come back and reunite the family’ – and I said, ‘Absolutely!’

“I said if they ever need me, just call me. I have so much family there with cast and the crew, I don’t think anyone ever really leaves.

“That’s what is nice about EastEnders. You always have a place there.”
