Coronation Street tragic death 'sealed' as fans spot Spider's fatal gang mistake

Coronation Street fans are confused over Spider Nugent’s (Martin Hancock) role as an undercover police officer as he continues to investigate sinister activist Griff.

Griff (Michael Condron) was introduced as a close pal of Spider’s but it soon became evident that he was an undercover cop attempting to infiltrate Griff’s group.

The far-right activist, who is currently grooming youngster Max Turner (Paddy Bever ) , took things a step further when he assaulted Daryan Zahawi (Twana Omer) in a racist attack.

After Daryan confessed he knew Griff was behind the attack, fans took to social media to question why Spider hasn’t acted on arresting him following the mountain of evidence.

Fans believe there is plenty of evidence Spider could use to send down Griff

One user penned: “I’m sure spider must have enough ammo on Griff now just put your phone on record mate.”

“What is he actually detecting though.. so far hes threw paint on the wall and allow a minor in the care of the authorities to be attacked… What undercover work has he ever done ?? Ever??,” added a second person.

Fans are questioning how long it will take for Spider to arrest Griff

A third agreed: “How much evidence does spider need to collect?”

Another echoed: “Godsake Spider how much evidence do you need? Dob them in! #Corrie.”

“How much more evidence does Spider the undercover cop need,” asked someone else before another responded: “Probably the longest undercover operation ever. What are they waiting for?”

While others believe a tragic death could be looming as Griff’s extremist views continue.

Fans believe Griff could kill someone before he is caught

“How long does spider have to be undercover before they arrest the disgusting racist group of morons, does somebody have to be really hurt or even killed!!, it’s ridiculous,” exclaimed one.

A second echoed: “Time to reel them in before someone dies, Spider #Corrie.”

“Well, that was horrible to watch. I really hope they are not going to kill off Daryan like some of the asylum seekers that have been stabbed to death, when they came here for a better life! #Corrie,” agreed another.
