Corrie Max actor Paddy Bever’s co-star shares ‘forever love’ for him in gushing post

Coronation Street star Paddy Bever had his ITV co-stars gushing over him as he shared a sweet birthday post – with one close pal sharing her “forever love” for the actor.

Paddy, best known for playing teenager Max Turner on the cobbles, turned 20 years old this weekend.

In a string of snaps posted to his Instagram grid, Paddy could be seen cradling his adorable pet pooch, before posing with his pals and heading to a concert.

He wore a grey sweatshirt and black trousers for the photoshoot, looking worlds away from troubled teen Max, who is currently embroiled in a racism storyline.

His co-stars soon flooded the comments section to share their love for the star, who recently triumphed at the National Television Awards.

Tina O’Brien, best known for her role as Sarah Platt, gushed: “Oh my goodness Paddy why didn’t you say it was your birthday?! I’m so sorry I didn’t realise.

“Happy Birthday! Have a gorgeous evening,” she concluded.

As Maria Connor star Samia Longchambon said: “Happy Birthday darling!”

Jude Riordan, who plays Sam Blakeman, also wished Paddy a happy birthday, while his on-screen girlfriend Cait Fitton, who plays Lauren on the soap, echoed: “Hope you had the best birthday angel – forever love.”

Even EastEnders actress Clair Norris was there to wish him the best, writing: “Happy belated birthday Paddy!”

It comes after the young actor was crowned the winner of a highly coveted gong at the NTAs, beating Heartstopper stars Kit Connor and Joe Locke, as well as Charinthra Chandran from Bridgerton in the Best Rising Star category.

Shock was written all over his face as he confessed he “hadn’t prepared a speech” – with his former co-star Millie Gibson, who played Kelly Neelan, caught ‘swearing’ as he rushed on stage.

Fans of the soap flocked to Twitter at the time to congratulate the star, with one writing: “@itvcorrie well deserved, seems such a lovely lad #NTA”.

Another chimed in: “Aww! He thanked God! That’s cute. Bet he’s the first in a long time to do that. [prayer emoji] #ntas #NTAAwards #NTA.”
