EastEnders' Letitia Dean looks slimmer than ever as she cuddles co-star's baby

EastEnders star Letitia Dean has shown off her trimmed figure in a stunning new photo with her co-star’s baby girl.

Letitia, 54, looked incredible as she smiled for the camera and cuddled the little tot, who belongs to her on-screen brother James’ baby.

It was a special moment for fans of the BBC soap who are used to seeing Letitia as Sharon Watts, the sister of James’ character Zack Hudson.

The soap star was glowing with a tan and styled her blonde locks in a long and fabulous fringe.

She beamed next to James’ wife Ali Roff, who looked cosy as ever in an oversized pink sweatshirt.

James and Ali welcomed their first baby last November and have shared some rare pics of the little one to keep fans up to date with their parenting journey.

It comes after Letitia underwent a jaw-dropping weight-loss journey which saw her drop a whopping four dress sizes.

The actress announced she had gone from 10st 4lbs to 8st 3lbs in just four months by switching up her diet.

The Sharon star was able to cut weight with the help of a new exercise plan and reducing her calorie intake to 1,300, which is lower than the recommended amount of 2,000.

Letitia also ditched junk food in favour of healthier dishes like chicken breast, pitta bread and “lots of greens”.

She told the Express: “It was incredible. I found I had so much more energy than when I used to eat junk food.”

Letitia revealed in June that she’d suffered a heartbreaking loss as her father had passed away.

She dedicated her Outstanding Achievement award to her late dad at the British Soap Awards.

Speaking on stage, she said: “I lost my daddy a week ago, so this is for my daddy, I hope he’s proud.

“And for my darling mummy, and I hope you enjoy your fish and chips. But seriously, thank you guys.

“I’m not very good at this public speaking, but I do love you all and thank you so much for the way you love me.”
